Big Red’s Trivia Bowl a success

This past Saturday, WKU Honors Toppers hosted Big Red’s Trivia Bowl to raise money for The Center for Courageous Kids. In line with this year’s theme, The Honors Toppers sported their best super hero costume. Each team paid an entry fee of thirty dollars to compete in the academic team style competition. T-shirts were also sold, and all proceeds went to the Scottsville based, Center for Courageous Kids. Ten teams battled it out this year (no super powers allowed), answering questions anywhere from the number of steps to the top of The Eiffel Tower, to the voice of Spiderman in the cartoon series, to the name of statues around campus. Members of the winning team were Tyler Lockhart, Zach Ryle, Alex Fonders, Corey Johnson, and Brad Stevens. While they may not be real super heroes, The Honors Toppers are certainly doing their part to save the day.
